About the Author
JAMIE PURVIANCE is regarded as one of the top grilling experts in America as well as Weber’s chief griller. After his graduation from the Culinary Institute of America and Stanford University, he launched his food career in food writing with publications like Bon Appetit, Fine Cooking, Better Homes and Gardens, Town & Country, as well as the Los Angeles Times.
He has written lots of cookbooks, amongst which is Weber’s Way to Grill, which was a New York Times best seller and was also nominated for a James Beard Award. Purviance has being invited to numerous television shows as an authority in grilling, and some of these shows include The Oprah Winfrey Show, Today, Good Morning America, and The Early Show. He makes his home in California.
